Yes, You, My Love
Yes, You, My Love

Yes, You, My Love

I tried to tell you about me
Turned your ear away
Sent people as witness
Chased your heart like fitness
I warned you to prevent the breaking
Put your name in the heart of others to bring shaking
Pulled their spirits to cover you
Visited when you slept
Awoke then walked away without respect

My love is eternal
Arms are a circle
I gave you a choice
I never interfere with decisions,
Still, I love you despite the permission

Even though you shove me
I guard like a father,
Nurture like a mother
Sent my employees to fight for you
Commanded common grace to maintain you
My love rains around you
Your eyes remain burdened with deception
Infirmities ingest misconception
You fly from conviction
Scared it will change your decision
Let peers capitalize on your intuition

Unable to be duplicated
Many have tried to complicate it
I am a Creator
Many are deceivers perpetuating
They pervert my ways
To keep you astray
Spoke my words
Poured my grace
Left the grave
Freed the slaves
It’s easy to deny me
Solely a few will come to find me
I will never force you – to be behind me
My fingers typed,
As the vessel
Gods voice,
Convicting the rebel
