Grief

Once you encounter grief
Every death pulls your heartstrings
A loss swings with a soft wing
Recall the terrible place
Feelings rush over in a wedding ring
A room in your heart remains vacant
Time closes the door
Painful memories in the present
Occasionally visit
Feel the feelings of empty
Roll over
Shift the mind to safety

Time comes and goes
Grief cuts
It never gets old.
